Land Use Committee Amendment June 10, 1996 IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 25 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Welborn Estates," creating a four-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2540, June 3, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: A 25 + acre tract of land generally located less than 1/2 mile south of Mo Hwy. 150 on the south and west side of Harris Road, more specifically described as part of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 36, Township 47, Range 31 in Jackson County, beginning at the SE corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 36, aforesaid, and running thence west 1327 feet to the SW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Sec. 36 thence north, along the west line of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Sec. 36,860 feet to a point on the approximate centerline of Harris Road, thence east, along the approximate centerline of Harris Road and an extension thereof to a point on the east line of the NE 1/4 of Sec. 36, thence south, along the east line of said 1/4 section 800 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Welborn Estates," creating a four-lot residential subdivision is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of WW Investment LLC (RZ-96-027), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on May 16, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning. Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
