Body
WHEREAS, the City of Blue Springs, Missouri, has requested the use of $241,857.00 from its CURS refund account for street repairs within its city limits; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the road maintenance project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Blue Springs and the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO
Unappropriated Surplus $241,857 Div. of Administration Public Works Dept. County Urban Road System Blue Springs City Projects $241,857
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that, pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $241,857.00 to the City of Blue Springs for use in the City's 1995 road maintenance program.
Attorney Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
