BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 5 ± acre tract of land generally located 4/10 of a mile north of Pink Hill Road on the east side of Ketterman Road and more specifically described as:
All that part of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 49, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17; thence South 85 degrees 55 minutes 44 seconds East along the North line of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17, a distance of 1327.21 feet; to the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17; thence South 01 degrees 48 minutes 09 seconds West along the East line of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17 a distance of 404.95 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 01 degrees 48 minutes 09 seconds West along the East line of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17 a distance of 255.13 feet; thence North 85 degrees 57 minutes 44 seconds West a distance of 1326.37 feet to the West line of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 17; thence North 01 degrees 43 minutes 54 seconds East along the West line of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 17 a distance of 60.05 feet; thence South 85 degrees 57 minutes 44 seconds East a distance of 603.17 feet; thence North 01 degrees 46 minutes 01 seconds East a distance of 149.17 feet; thence South 85 degrees 57 minutes 44 seconds East a distance of 34.51 feet; North 01 degrees 46 minutes 01 seconds East a distance of 45.92 feet; thence South 85 degrees 57 minutes 44 seconds East a distance of 688.88 feet to the point of beginning Containing 5.00 acres. All bearings are based on the Kansas City Metro Control Project, Missouri Coordinate System 1983 West Zone Station JA-61 to Station JA-61A asa having a bearing of North 85 degrees 49 minutes 36 seconds West.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of James Bunyard (RZ-2001-242), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 19, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
