IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE appropriating $29,625.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Grant Fund to cover the Victim Services Advocate Grant for the Prosecuting Attorney's Offices Victim Services Program, received from the Missouri Department of Public Safety and the transfer of matching funds. Intro ORDINANCE 2736, September 22, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dixie M. Flynn, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety has awarded the Prosecuting Attorney's office a grant in the amount of $23,700.00 to cover the cost of a victim advocate for its Victim Services Program; and, WHEREAS, said grant is subject to a $5,925.00 local match for which a transfer and appropriation are necessary; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1997 Grant Fund: DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO General Fund Prosecuting Attorney Prosecutor's Contingency Fund $5,925 Unappropriated Surplus $5,925 Grant Fund Increase Revenue 29,625 Unappropriated Surplus 29,625 Unappropriated Surplus 29,625 J.
