AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RE (Residential Estates), a certain 19.8 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE  # 3319, December 2, 2002

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Description:  A 19.8 ± acre tract of land approximately 1/4 of a mile west of Minter Road on the north side of Ryan Road specifically described as:

 

A TRACT OF LAND BEING ALL OF THE WEST ONE-HALF OF THE SW 1/4 OF THE SE 1/4 OF SECTION 4-T.48-R.30, JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SW CORNER OF SAID SE 1/4; THENCE N 02°-01'-56" E, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SE 1/4, 1307.05 FEET TO THE NW CORNER OF THE SW 1/4 OF SAID SE 1/4; THENCE S 88°-06'-48"E, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SW 1/4, SE 1/4, 660.24 FEET TO THE NE CORNER OF THE W ½ OF SAID SW 1/4, SE 1/4; THENCE S 01°-59'57"W, ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID W ½, 1307.73 FEET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SE 1/4; THENCE N 88°-03'-15"W, ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SE 1/4, 660.99 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, AKA 30008 AND 30108 RYAN ROAD.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Harold Kenyon (RZ-2002-282), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on November 21, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
