Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4029, dated September 15, 2008, the Legislature did appropriate $23,000.00 from the fund balance of the 2008 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to restore Guadalupe Center's pre-2008 level of funding; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 4029 inadvertently placed funds in the treatment portion of the COMBAT Commission budget line instead of the prevention portion, which was intended; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place these funds in the appropriate spending account thereby correcting the administrative error in Ordinance 4029; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2008 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO
008-4404 56789 - Outside Agency Funding $23,000
008-4402 56005 - Community Crime Prevention $23,000
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an appropriate addendum to contract with Guadalupe Center to give effect to this transfer; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and addendum.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
