IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to LI (Light Industrial), a certain 1.8 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2679, June 2, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "LI" (Light Industrial) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District LI a tract of land described as follows: Description: The 1.8 + acre tract of land is generally located 0.3 mile west of Barr Road on the north side of Missouri A-A Highway and more specifically described: All that part of the southeast quarter of Section 33, Township 49, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of said Section 33; thence south 01 degree, 52 minutes, 20 seconds west, 2197.25 feet along the east line of said southeast quarter to a point on the north right of way line of Missouri State Highway A-A as now established (said point being 30.00 feet northerly from the centerline thereof); thence north 87 degrees, 22 minutes, 05 seconds west, 1626.17 feet along said north right of way line to the true point of beginning of this description; thence continuing north 87 degrees, 22 minutes, 05 seconds west, 4.29 feet along said north right of way line to the point of curve of a curve to the left having a radius of 1072.56 feet and a delta angle of 21 degrees, 08 minutes, 19 seconds; thence in a southwesterly direction along said curve (being on the north right of way line of said state highway) an arc distance of 395.71 feet; thence north 01 degree, 52 minutes, 20 seconds east, 211.09 feet; thence northeasterly along a curve to the right having a radius of 1272.56 feet and a delta angle of 17 degrees, 49 minutes, 39 seconds an arc distance of 395.95 feet to the point of tangent of said curve; thence south 87 degrees, 22 minutes, 05 seconds east 4.29 feet; thence south 02 degrees, 37 minutes, 55 seconds west, 200 feet to a point on the north right of way line of Missouri State Highway A-A , said point being the true point of beginning of this description. Containing 1.837 acres. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Steven Gildehaus (RZ-97-064), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 15, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
