Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals via Electronic Solicitation BB200818 for the furnishing of t-shirts and wearing apparel for use by various County departments; and,
WHEREAS, he distributed a total of twelve bid notifications and received seven responses, three of which were rejected as non-responsive; and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the director recommends that the contract be divided and awarded to the vendors submitting the lowest bid for each item; and
WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in estimated awards to the following vendors:

and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount, with availability of funds for specific purchases subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishments of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
