Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution #13849 dated October 8, 2001, enter into a contract with MTS Contracting Inc., of North Kansas City, for the waterproofing of the foundation at the Parks and Recreation Department's Jacomo equipment service shop in the actual amount of $17,000; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed increase to this contract is necessary as additional services not anticipated at the time of the original contract are needed, and this increase will not exceed $1,681.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishments of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
