IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION congratulating Lee's Summit High School senior Chad Hertzog, upon his win in the heavyweight division at the 1998 Missouri State Class 4A Wrestling Championship. Intro RESOLUTION # 12109, March 16, 1998 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham and Fred Arbanas, County Legislators Body WHEREAS, Lee's Summit High School senior Chad Hertzog crowned his four-year wrestling career by successfully defending his title as Missouri's State Class 4A wrestling champion; and, WHEREAS, Chad was undefeated this season, including four matches at the Missouri State High School wrestling tournament, compiling a 39-0 record; and, WHEREAS, this heavyweight grappler set not only the school's single season pin record of 28, but also the school career pin record of 67 and finished second all-time in number of wins; and, WHEREAS, Chad ends his Tiger career with a final record of 124-11 and two state titles, a school record of 67 pins, and placing second in the history of the school for wins; and, WHEREAS, guiding Chad in his four years as a wrestler and two state championships was his Head Coach Ethan Hauck and Assistant Coaches Don Graham (son of County Legislator John Graham), John Repp, and Jeff Scott; and, WHEREAS, Chad is the grandson of former County Legislator Dr. Robert Hertzog; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislator of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Chad Hertzog on his successful defense of his title as Missouri's Class 4A State Wrestling Heavyweight Champion in 1998, for proudly representing Lee's Summit High School in his athletic endeavors, and for striving for excellence in his outstanding four-year career as a wrestler for the Tigers. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
