A RESOLUTION congratulating Lee's Summit West High School junior Austin Eveler upon his victory in the 132-pound division at the 2014 Missouri State Class 4 Wrestling Championship.

Body
WHEREAS, Austin Eveler, a junior at Lee's Summit West High School, has achieved a series of impressive wins as a wrestler for the Titans; and,
WHEREAS, as a sophomore Austin received a silver medal in the 2013 Missouri State Wrestling Tournament; and,
WHEREAS, Austin was committed to improving throughout the next year and was determined to meet his goal at this year's state championship; and,
WHEREAS, Austin succeeded in achieving a gold medal in the Class 4 132-pound division with a 9 - 8 decision at the Missouri State Wrestling Championship held at the Mizzou Arena; and,
WHEREAS, Austin finished the season with a 51 - 3 record; and,
WHEREAS, guiding Austin to his outstanding win was his coach, Ethan Hauck; and,
WHEREAS, Austin's parents, Brandy and Joseph Eveler, are justifiably proud of Austin's accomplishments; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislator of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Austin Eveler on winning the gold medal championship title at the Missouri State Wrestling Tournament and wishes him continued success in the future...Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
