Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 16-95 for the furnishing of concessions ice cream novelties for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR
Kansas City Ice Cream
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Frozen Distribution, Inc.
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Kansas City Ice Cream of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth
on the attached recapitulation; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to he using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
