Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 3 ± acre lot is less than ¼ ± mile south of Courtney Atherton Road on the east side of Whitney Road and is legally described as Lot 10, Obermeyer Acres, a Jackson County, Missouri subdivision lying in the southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 50, Range 31, aka 2423 N. Whitney Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Morris Groom (RZ-2006-416), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on October 19, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
