BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. A conditional use permit for twenty-five years to operate a horse boarding facility, subject to the restriction that the number of horses boarded shall be limited to no more than thirty-one at any one time, under the Unified Development Code, is hereby approved as to a certain tract of land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
A 26 ± acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of Corn Road and Hammond Road and specifically described as Lot 1 of Meyer Acres Subdivision and the west 26 acres of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 35, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri, except that part in road and except that part platted as Meyer Acres aka 33800 E. Hammond Road.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Cleon Braun, (CU-00-049), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on September 21, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
