WHEREAS, the County Legislature has a need to purchase audio-visual equipment for use in the Eastern Jackson County Courthouse Legislative Chambers; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for the furnishing and installation of audio visual equipment at the Eastern Jackson County Courthouse for use by the County Legislature to Harvest AV Solutions of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions set forth in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO Contract No. 2353-19-25, an existing government contract, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $25,449.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is required to submit to the Legislature for approval any purchase under an existing government contract which exceeds $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Harvest AV Solutions, under the existing government contract due to the higher volume discounts offered to larger entities; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
