Body

WHEREAS, the Legislature has identified funding for the purpose of providing salary increases for members of the staff of the Prosecuting Attorney required by Memoranda of Understanding with the International Association of Firefighters and Carpenters District Council; now therefore,

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the Legislature recommends that the Prosecuting Attorney,  in order to cover the cost of these salary increases, utilize $302,306.00 from within his Delinquent Tax Collection Fund.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
