Title
A RESOLUTION awarding an eleven (11) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of tires and related services for use by the Department of Public Works and the Parks and Recreation Department to Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of an existing State of Missouri government contract. This award is based on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriation.

Body
WHEREAS, the Departments of Public Works and Parks and Recreation have a continuing need for tires and related services; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1040.4 and 1064., of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of an eleven (11) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of tires and related services for use by the Department of Public Works and the Parks and Recreation Department to Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC of Kansas City, MO, under an existing government contract of the State of Missouri, Contract No. C10209600; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that an award be made to Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC of Kansas City, MO, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
