Body

WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation to Bid No. BB200445 for the purchase of tactical team firearms, firearm accessories, vests and ballistic helmets; and,

 

WHEREAS, after evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that the contract be split and awarded to the vendors submitting the low bid for each category of items; and,

 

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in actual awards to the vendors as follows:

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation  be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2004 Federal Forfeiture Fund:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments except final payment on the contract.

Effective Date:  This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
