Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15735, dated December 12, 2005, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Agreement with Resource Development Institute of Kansas City, MO, to conduct the first phase of an evaluation of COMBAT-supported treatment programs, at a cost to the County of $51,178.00.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16036, dated October 2, 2006, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Agreement with Resource Development Institute to conduct the second phase of this evaluation, at a cost to the County of $97,250.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney now recommends the execution of an Addendum to the second phase Consulting Agreement with Resource Development Institute, to conduct the third and final phase of the evaluation, at a cost to the County not to exceed of $34,032.89; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed services include review of evidence of best practices in treatment venues, completion of an executive summary and final chapters of the evaluation report, consolidation of all pictorial and graphic data into one section, and confirmation of content with appropriate staff and the Legislature; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the second phase Consulting Agreement with Resource Development Institute, at a cost to the County not to exceed $34,032.89, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
