AN ORDINANCE appropriating $11,952.90 from the fund balance of the 2010 Federal Forfeiture Fund to cover a disbursement from the Western District of Missouri Federal Drug Enforcement Agency for use by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, and authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with the Drug Enforcement Agency to receive and appropriate the funds for education benefits and other equipment.

Body
WHEREAS, the Western District of Missouri Federal Drug Enforcement Agency has made an Equitable Sharing payment to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office in the amount of $11,952.90; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of 2010 Federal Forfeiture Fund be and hereby is made:
