BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 14.57 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ of a mile south of Boswell Road on the west side of County Line Road and more specifically described as a portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 47, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 33; thence South 2 degrees
26 minutes 39 seconds West along the East line of Section 33 for 1529.90
feet for the Point of Beginning; thence continue South 2 degrees 26 minutes
39 seconds West for 483.00 feet; thence North 87 degrees 50 minutes 10
seconds West parallel to the North line of Section 33 for 1332.64 feet; thence North 2 degrees 09 minutes 50 seconds East for 182.29 feet tangent to a curve to the right; thence along said curve, radius 350.00 feet, delta 20
degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds, for 122.17 feet; thence North 22 degrees 09 minutes 50 seconds East for 217.00 feet; thence easterly along a curve to the left, tangent bearing South 67 degrees 50 minutes 10 seconds East,
radius 380.00 feet, delta 20 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds, for 132.65 feet;
thence South 87 degrees 50 minutes 10 seconds East for 1109.71 feet to the Point of Beginning, Containing 14.570 acres more or less.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Osage Highlands, LLC (RZ-2001-239), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 19, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
