A RESOLUTION awarding a contract on Bid No. 59-02 for the furnishing of drug treatment services for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Drug Court program to Addiction Recovery Services of Kansas City, MO, at a cost to the County not to exceed $628,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 59-02 for the furnishing of drug treatment services for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office in its Drug Court program; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR
County Court Services
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Addiction Recovery Services
Kansas City (Clay County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has recommended that award be made to County Court Services, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Addiction Recovery Services of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as determined by the Legislature, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
