Body
WHEREAS, certain portions of Robinson and White Roads lie in the City of Oak Grove, while some portions lie in unincorporated Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Oak Grove has agreed to mill and overlay the entire road as part of its road program, if Jackson County shares the cost for the jointly owned road sections; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the City of Oak Grove provides an appropriate mechanism to allow the County to participate in the mill and overlay of the shared portions of Robinson and White Roads, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of $121,595.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the City of Oak Grove; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
