WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has a continuing need to purchase mobile radio equipment for the Sheriff's Office vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, the grant period began on January 1, 2005 and will continue through January 22, 2006; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Grant Fund:
