AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 2.0 ± acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3157, July 9, 2001

 

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 2.0 ± acre tract of land generally located on the south side of Stony Point School Road ½ mile west of Buckner-Tarsney legally described as Lot 2 Parker Estates lying in part of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter, Section 10, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri, aka 31707 E. Stony Point School Road.

 

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Douglas and Frances Chandler (RZ-2001-237), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 with one abstention, to recommend this application in a public hearing on June 21, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
