Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 24-01 for the furnishing of inmate commissary service for use by the Department of Corrections for a two-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR
Keefe Commissary Network
St. Louis, MO
Swanson Services Corporation
Denver, CO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Keefe Commissary Network of St. Louis, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
