IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

 

Title

AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by changing from District A (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette) a certain 25.6±  acre tract, and approving the preliminary plat "Milissa Acres 3rd Plat," creating a four-lot residential subdivision.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

A 25.6 ± acre tract of land approximately ¼ ± of a mile east of Noel Road on the south side of Lone Jack-Lee's Summit Road and specifically described:  This is a Replat of Lots 7 and 8 of Milissa Acres 2nd Plat and a portion of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 47, Range 30 described as follows: 

 

Beginning at the Northwest corner of Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 47, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri;  thence North 89 degrees 59 minutes 38 seconds east along the North line of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, North 87 degrees 55 minutes 41 seconds East a distance of 852.56 feet to a point lying 471.85 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14; thence South 00 degrees 52 minutes 24 seconds East (deed reads), North 00 degrees 44 minutes 26 seconds East (deed reads), a distance of 108.38 feet; thence North 89 degrees 38 minutes 49 seconds West (deed reads), North 89 degrees 30 minutes 51 seconds West (deed reads), a distance of 91.82 feet; thence South 02 degrees 09 minutes 51 seconds West (deed reads), thence South 02 degrees 17 minutes 49 seconds West (deed reads), a distance of 312.73 feet; thence South 88 degrees 17 minutes 40 seconds East (deed reads), thence South 88 degrees 09 minutes 42 seconds East deed reads, a distance of 115.68 feet; thence South 01 degrees 07 minutes 57 seconds East deed reads, South 01 degrees 12 minutes 43 seconds East a distance of 900.41 feet deed reads 900.90 feet; thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes 03 seconds West deed reads, North 89 degrees 50 minutes 18 seconds West deed reads, a distance of 929.93 feet; thence North 01 degrees 59 minutes 10 seconds East deed reads, North 00 degrees 06 minutes 19 seconds West deed reads, a distance of 1324.94 feet to the point of Beginning.  Containing 25.60 acres except that part in roads more or less a/k/a 32407 and 32511 Lone Jack-Lee's Summit Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The preliminary plat "Melissa Acres 3rd Plat," creating a four-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved as to the tract described in section 1 of this Ordinance.

 

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Robert Crimson (RZ-2006-390) requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of this application at a public hearing on February 16, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
