IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 58.7 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Blue and Grey Equestrian Estates," creating an eleven-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2592, October 7, 1996 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: The 58.7+ acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Hammond Road and Gibson Road and described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the east 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 1, Township 47, Range 30; thence S 00' 00" E along the west line of said east 1/2 of the northwest 1/4 1,708.10 feet to the P.C. of a curve to the left; thence along said curve having a radius of 400.00 feet, an arc length of 143.89 feet to the P.T. of said curve; thence S 21ø 25' 25" E 424.48 feet to the P.C. of a Curve to the right; thence along said curve heaving a radius of 132.28 feet, an arc length of 229.97 feet to the P.R.C. of a curve to the left; thence along said curve having a radius of 203.55 feet, an arc length of 266.89 feet to the P.T. of said curve; thence S 03ø 03' 49" W Tangent to the last described course 71.45 feet; thence N 82ø 21' 35" E 1,316.52 feet to a point in the east line of said Northwest 1/4; thence along said east line N Oø 02' 03" W 976.27 feet; thence S 81ø 43' 30" W 370.47 feet; thence N Oø 46' 00" W 840.77 feet; thence N 89ø 54' 20" E 200.00 feet; thence N Oø 46' 00" W 400.00 feet; thence S 89ø 54' 20" W 200.00 feet; thence N Oø 46' 00" W 389.30 feet to a Point in the north line of the east 1/2 of the northwest 1/2 of said section; thence S 89ø 54' 20" W along said north line 825.00 to the Point of beginning. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Blue and Grey Equestrian Estates," creating an eleven-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John O'Shields (RZ-96-041), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on September 19, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
