Body
WHEREAS, the various County departments have a need to contract for audio-visual solutions; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for audio-visual solutions for use by the various County departments to Logicalis, Inc., of Troy, MI, under the terms and conditions set forth in 1GPA National Purchasing Cooperative Contract No. 22-02PV-12, a competitively bid government contract, at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $500,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is required to submit to the Legislature for approval any purchase under an existing government contract which exceeds $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to Logicalis, Inc, under the existing government contract due to the higher volume discounts offered to larger entities; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.

This award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriation not to exceed $500,000.00 for 2024.
