WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 9992, dated November 1, 1993, enter into a contract with Radmacher Brothers Excavating Company, in the actual amount of $404,472.00, for the construction of Old Highway 40 over the Gateway Western Railroad Bridge Replacement Project No. 2252; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1 (final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust the various plan quantities to as-built quantities, and said change order will result in an increase not to exceed $23,783.52; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the aforesaid contract is approved and the Director of Purchasing is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
