Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recommends the execution of the attached Maintenance Agreement for the purpose of assigning maintenance responsibilities related to a construction project on the County right-of-way located at the intersection of Missouri 7 Highway and Stringtown Road, at no cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, the execution of the attached Maintenance Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission is in the best interest of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Maintenance Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the County the Agreement and any other documents necessary to give effect to this Resolution.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
