Body
WHEREAS, the Medical Examiner's Office has incurred increased costs associated with the expense of contract physicians and fees due to an increase in case load in the office; and,
WHEREAS, the Medical Examiner's Office also requires specific updated equipment needed to maintain accreditation through the National Association of Medical Examiners; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the needed funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers within the 2011 Health Fund be and hereby are made:
