IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an Agreement with the Mid- America Regional Council to provide for a teenage pregnancy program and a recreational and athletic program at a total cost to the County not to exceed $48,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION #11598, February 3, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dixie Flynn & John Patrick Burnett, County Legislators Body WHEREAS, the County and the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) desires to enter into a Cooperative Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, whereunder the County will pay MARC $48,000.00 to provide for a teenage pregnancy program and a recreational and athletic program; and, WHEREAS, under the Agreement MARC is authorized to subcontract with the Guadalupe Center for an amount not to exceed $48,000.00 to fund the Center's Westside teen pregnancy program and recreational and athletic program; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
