BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
A 5.0 ± acre tract of land generally located on the southeast corner of Steinhauser Road and Borgman Road lying in all that part of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 6, Township 49, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri aka 36807 E. Steinhauser Road and more specifically described:
ALL THAT PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 49, RANGE 29, IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTH QUARTER CORNER OF SAID SECTION 6; THENCE SOUTH 87°37'59" EAST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 6, A DISTANCE OF 55.26 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 2°22'01" WEST ALONG A LINE PERPENDICULAR TO THE LAST DESCRIBED COURSE, A DISTANCE OF 30.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTH 87°37'59" EAST ALONG A LINE 30 FEET SOUTH OF, AS MEASURED AT RIGHT ANGLES TO, AND RUNNING PARALLEL WITH SAID NORTH LINE, A DISTANCE OF 567.28 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 1°52'48" WEST ALONG A LINE RUNNING PARALLEL WITH THE WEST LINE OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 6, A DISTANCE OF 368.26 FEET; THENCE NORTH 87°37'59" WEST ALONG A LINE RUNNING PARALLEL WITH THE NORTH LINE OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 6, A DISTANCE OF 592.28 FEET TO A POINT 30.00 FEET EAST OF, AS MEASURED AT RIGHT ANGLES TO, THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTHEAST QUARTER; THENCE NORTH 1°52'48" EAST ALONG A LINE RUNNING PARALLEL WITH SAID WEST LINE, A DISTANCE OF 343.26 FEET; THENCE NORTH 47°07'25" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 35.20 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 5.00 ACRES MORE OR LESS AKA 36807 E. STEINHAUSER ROAD.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Charles Triplett (RZ-2001-235), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 21, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
