Body
WHEREAS, Lee's Summit North High School senior Ethan Bresette won the Missouri State Swimming Championship in the 200-yard individual medley and was a member of the State Championship 400-yard freestyle relay team; and,
WHEREAS, Ethan posted a winning time in the 200-yard IM of 1.51.17 at the Missouri State Swimming and Diving Championships held November 15 - 16, 2013, in St. Peters, MO; and,
WHEREAS, Ethan plans to attend Missouri State University pursuing a major in graphic design with a possible career in architecture; and,
WHEREAS, Ethan is an honors student who has pursued swimming for the past seven years and has signed his commitment to swim for the Missouri State Bears next fall; and,
WHEREAS, Ethan's proud parents are Dennis and Melissa Bresette, who, together with his siblings Sydney, Liam, and Lucia, are justifiably proud of Ethan's accomplishments; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Ethan Bresette of Lee's Summit North High School on his outstanding performance at the Missouri State Swimming and Diving Championships and extends its best wishes for all of his future endeavors.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
