IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and the Kansas City, Missouri Board of Police Commissioners, regarding the Prosecuting Attorney's Drug Abatement Response Team, at a cost to the County not to exceed $96,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION # 11911, October 20, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 11425, the County did, on September 16, 1996, enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and the Kansas City, Missouri Board of Police Commissioners, regarding the Prosecuting Attorney's Drug Abatement Response Team (DART); and, WHEREAS, pursuant to its terms, said Memorandum expired on June 30, 1997; and, WHEREAS, the parties now desire to extend the DART program for an additional twelve months, so as to have a term coincident with the grant by the State of Missouri in support of this program; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and the Kansas City, Missouri Board of Police Commissioners; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment under the Memorandum...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
