IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference for funding of the 1998 King Birthday Celebration at a cost to the County not to exceed $50,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION # 12000, January 5, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Carl W. Bussey, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the County and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereunder the County will pay $50,000 to the SCLC to be used by SCLC for funding the 1998 King Birthday Celebration; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
