BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
Description:
The 10 ± acres are approximately 1/10th of a mile north of Blue Mills Road on the right side of Lentz Road and legally described as: this is a replat of Lot 1 of "STONEY BLUFFS, LOTS 1 & 2", a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence S 02̊19'46" W along the East line of said Lot 1, also being the East line of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 15, Township 50 North, Range 31 West, a distance of 425.51 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1; thence N 87̊55'28" W along the South Line of said Lot 1, a distance of 1291.41 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence N 02̊21'06" E along the West line of said Lot 1, a distance of 210.00 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence S 87̊55'28" E along the North line of said Lot 1, a distance of 509.42 feet to a corner of said Lot 1; thence N 34̊30'50" W along the West line of said Lot 1, a distance of 250.67 feet to a point on the existing Southerly right of way line of Lentz Road; thence Northeasterly along said existing right of way line along a curve to the left with an initial tangent bearing of N 87̊06'33" E and a radius of 195.00 feet, an arc distance of 60.00 feet to a point on the North line of the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of said Section 15; thence S 87̊55'28" E along the North line of said Lot 1 and the North line of said ¼ ¼ Section, a distance of 874.25 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 10.479 acres, more or less, all being subject to easements, rights of way, and restrictions of record.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Robert Turner (RZ-2007-435), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on June 21, 2007, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
