Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4164, dated October 26, 2009, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of the Recovery Act Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) for use by the Sheriff's Department for law enforcement purposes, for the period of October 1, 2009, through March 31, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department desires to purchase approved automobile equipment under this grant; and
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place funds in the appropriate spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2010 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
