Body
WHEREAS, Seth Snyder has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, Seth, the proud son of Lawrence Michael and Carol Snyder, has been a scout for eleven (11) years and belongs to Troop 206 of Independence, Missouri, led by Scoutmaster Richard Hendren; and,
WHEREAS, in recognition of his high achievement, Seth will be recognized at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on May 15, 2005 at Saint Mark's United Methodist Church; and,
WHEREAS, Seth has received a total of twenty-five (25) merit badges and has held the leadership positions of Scribe, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, and Patrol Leader, and Venture Group Treasurer; and,
WHEREAS, Seth has earned the awards and special honors of Tribe of Mic-O-Say, Arrow of Light, Presidential Award for Academic Achievement, McCoy Medal, Map Test (two silver medals), German National Honor Society, and National Honor Society during his time as a scout; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Seth Snyder for his outstanding achievements upon becoming an Eagle Scout.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
