IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a term and supply contract on Bid No. 162-97 for the maintenance of elevators for use by the Facilities Management Department to Dover Elevator Co. of Lenexa, KS, to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period, in the estimated amount of $63,180.00. Intro RESOLUTION #12022, January 26, 1998 INTRODUCED BY John Patrick Burnett, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 162-97 for the maintenance of elevators for use by the Facilities Management Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and, WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following: VENDOR BID (based on estimated usage) Dover Elevator Co. $63,180.00 Lenexa, KS Montgomery Koone, Inc. $65,232.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO Thyssen Elevator Corp. $69,180.00 North Kansas City, MO and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Dover Elevator of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriation to the using spending agency has heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
