A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with Blitzen and Company of Pleasant Hill, MO, to provide ungulate (hoofed) animal control services for use by the Public Works Department at an estimated cost to the County not to exceed $5,000.00.

INTRODUCED BY Bill Petrie, County Legislator

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has solicited proposals for the provision of ungulate (hoofed) animal control services, for use by the County; and,

 

WHEREAS, Blitzen and Company of Pleasant Hill, MO, has submitted the only proposal for these services; and,

 

WHEREAS, the attached agreement sets forth the rights and obligations of the parties; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached agreement with Blitzen and Company of Pleasant Hill, MO; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the agreement to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
