WHEREAS, the Jackson County Drug Task Force will be reimbursed by the U.S. Department of Justice's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) for its overtime and authorized expenses relating to the provision of experienced drug law enforcement officers assisting in OCDETF investigations ; and,
WHEREAS, the actual amount of funding by the Department of Justice is determined by each OCDETF Investigation assigned to the Jackson County Drug Task Force; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the OCDETF funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
