WHEREAS, the KC In-School Anti-Truancy Project is a cooperative project among the City of Kansas City, the Kansas City School District, and the County; and,
WHEREAS, under this grant program the Family Court Division will receive $98,596.40, to pay certain personnel costs for the staff who will participate in the program; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1999 Grant Fund is necessary in order to give effect to this grant; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1999 Grant Fund:
