AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10 ±  acre tract.

ORDINANCE    # 3284,   September 9, 2002

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:  A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located 1 mile north of US Highway 50 on the west side of Al Gossett Road and specifically described as:

 

A tract of land situated in Section 16, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri, and described as follows:  Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 0 degrees 14 minutes 40 seconds West along the East line of said Quarter, Quarter Section 261.54 feet; thence South 89 degrees 24 minutes 39 seconds West 1462.54 feet; thence South 0 degrees 34 minutes 52 seconds West 319.19 feet; thence North 89 degrees 39 minutes 13 seconds East 119.93 feet; thence North 89 degrees 34 minutes 06 seconds East 1347.24 feet to the East line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 16; thence North 0 degrees 18 minutes 15 seconds West along said East line, 61.81 feet to the point of beginning, EXCEPT that part in roads.

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Marcia Boehm (RZ-2002-278), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 15, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
