A RESOLUTION authorizing the execution of certain documents required by the County’s banking and investment companies designating the County Executive, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and the Clerk of the Legislature to be authorized signers on behalf of the County.

Body
WHEREAS, the County’s banking and investment brokerage companies require the adoption of a resolution updating the County’s designated authorized signers; and,
WHEREAS, UMB, Blue Ridge Bank, and Multi-Bank Securities have each submitted documents required to designate the County Executive, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and the Clerk of the Legislature as authorized signers; and,
WHEREAS, it is also appropriate that if another financial institution working with the County needs similar designation, that this Resolution should also serve as such; and,
WHEREAS, the execution of these documents is in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive, the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing, and the Clerk of the Legislature be and hereby are designated as authorized signers on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all County officials be and hereby are authorized to execute any and all documents and take any other actions necessary to give effect to this Resolution.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
