AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 5.2 + acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3029, July 10, 2000

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 5.2 ± acre tract of land approximately 3/4 of a mile east of Koger Road on the north side of Atherton-Sibley Road and specifically described:

 

All that part of the South 25.00 Acres of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 51 North, Range 30 West, all in Jackson County, Missouri and more fully described as follows:  Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 51 North, Range 30 West; thence North 87 degrees 38 minutes 03 seconds West (this bearing and all following bearings based on and referenced to the East line of said Section 30 having a bearing of South 03 degrees 26 minuted 36 seconds West) along the South line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 30, a distance of 276.08 feet; thence North 03 degrees 26 minutes 36 seconds East 828.92 feet to a point on the north line of the south 25 acres of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 30; thence along the north line of said south 25 acres South 87 degrees 38 minutes 03 seconds East 276.08 feet to a point on the East line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 30; thence South 03 degrees 26 minutes  36 seconds West along said east line 828.92 feet to the point of beginning, less and except that part in road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Cathy King (RZ-2000-193), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 22, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
