BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR and legally described as follows:

Description:

 

The 15 ± acres are generally located 1/4 mile north of Lone Jack-Lee's Summit Road on the east side of Shores Road and legally described:

 

All that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 47 North, Range 30 West, in Jackson County, Missouri and being more fully described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the East line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 47 North, Range 30 West, in Jackson County, Missouri, said point being South 02 degrees 10 minutes 46 seconds West (this bearing and all following bearings being Grid North as based on Missouri State Plane Coordinate System, and established by using R.T.K.  G.P.S. and referenced to Kansas City Metro Control Station JA-85), 803.46 feet from the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13; thence continue South 02 degrees 10 minutes 46 seconds West along the East line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13, a distance of 527.96 feet to the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13; thence South 85 degrees 33 minutes 36 seconds West along the South line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13, a distance of 1330.93 feet to the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13; thence North 02 degrees 06 minutes 17 seconds East along the West line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 13, a distance of 454.21 feet to a point being the Southwest corner of Lot 2, of Larsen View, a subdivision of land in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 85 degrees 23 minutes 41 seconds East along the South line of said Lot 2, a distance of 558.36 feet to a point being the Southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence North 02 degrees 12 minutes 01 seconds East along the East line of said Lot 2, a distance of 69.82 feet to a point being the Southwest corner of Lot 3 of Larsen View 2nd Plat a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence North 85 degrees 23 minutes 41 seconds East along the South line of said Larsen View 2nd Plat, 773.59 feet to the Point of Beginning, aka 12425 S. Section 3.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Herbert Homes (RZ-2005-360), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended APPROVAL of this application in a public hearing on February 17, 2005, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
