Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for right-of-way and a temporary construction easement in connection with the Colbern Road Phase II Project, No. 2411; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of the required property, Rotary Youth Camp Association, Inc., have agreed to convey to the County the requested right-of-way and easements, as outlined in the attached Cooperative Agreement, in exchange for site improvements valued at $60,102.00; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed work was included and funded in the contract for this project with Ideker, Inc., awarded by Resolution 15252, dated November 23, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends execution of the Cooperative Agreement, and acceptance of the right-of-way and easements upon the specified terms; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Cooperative Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
