Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written proposals under Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 24-08 for the furnishing of telecommunications audit services for use by the Information Technology Department ; and,
WHEREAS, under the RFP, the successful bidder is to be compensated based on a percentage of future savings, and a percentage of past erroneous payments recovered; and,
WHEREAS, a total of seventeen (17) solicitations were distributed, and three (3) responses were received as follows:
VENDOR BID/COMMISSION PERCENTAGE
Net Results Group, Southfield, MI 25% - Successful Billing Error Recoveries
22.5% of Future Savings for one year
BTU Consultants, Overland, MO 25% - Successful Billing Error Recoveries
40% of Future Savings for one year
Network Consulting, Gardner, KS 25% - Successful Billing Error Recoveries
50% of Future Savings for two years
and,
WHEREAS, the Director recommends award to Net Results Group, Inc., of Southfield, MI, as the lowest and best bidder; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and is hereby authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
